Giving pricing information without a customer specification is extremely difficult. The guidelines given on this page are intended to give prospective customers a feel for the likely costs incurred when commissioning a web site, but it is important to understand that specific requirements may increase (or reduce) the typical prices shown here. Therefore the costs shown here do not consitute a quotation.
To produce the basic elements for a website, typically the structure, masthead, navigation menu and any other foundational graphics required, typically £250-£300.
The cost of adding a basic online enquiry form (e.g. email request for further information) is about £50.
Images can be supplied by the customer - manipulation of these is included in the basic costs. However galleries, bespoke or other graphically intensive requirements will increase the costs.
Additional standard XHTML web pages, approximately £40 per page. This typically declines as the number of pages increases above 20 or so.
For sites involving more user interaction, databases or more specialised features, it would be necessary for the requirements to be documented and discussed before a quotation could be given.
Alternatively, or for consultancy work, Mark is prepared to quote a competitive day rate.
